DESIGN OVERVIEW 

Home Sweet Home is a new type of property management company with two target audiences - the property investor and the tenant. The design needs to reflect and speak to both audiences. The desired response from the brand core essence is 'care' and the brand values - how people feel when exposed to the brand should be positive, real, family, warmth, connection and professional.

SOLUTION & OUTCOME 

From a brand strategy outcome the name "Home Sweet Home" was chosen with the strap line "Many Happy Returns". The development of the logo incorporated a watercolour wash in blue for the home owner and orange for the tenant. The identity was then applied to stationery (letterhead and business cards), responsive website, vehicles, signage, etc.

UM Ltd is a Smart Building Control Business - a business that uses todays modern technology so that you can control your business or home via Smart Automation for security, lighting, heating, cooling, entertainment areas, etc

Ulrich and Melissa approached Love Your Brand to come up with an identity to emulate the flexibility of their business. It needed to be simple, strong and visual and fit in with the building industry from the architect to the builder. It also had to encompass an eco friendly philosophy moving home/office automation towards a cleaner future.

UM Ltd, Eco > Smart > Automate, was designed bold and is applied in many ways using photography which can be changed depending on the communication.

INTRODUCTION 

Industry Connect is a business that does exactly what its name implies - connects student graduates to the IT/software industry within New Zealand.

Software development job ready programmes train students with in-demand skills, and they are placed on the internship with partner software companies so that students gain work experience with well-known commercial projects and build strong connections with industrial people.

SOLUTION & OUTCOME 

Love Your Brand was briefed initially to "clean up the "Industry Connect" website. When evaluating the design components of the website - we found that the logo/identity was the problem to be looked at first. A new logo and colour palette was introduced which then was reflected throughout the website look & feel. 

Applications extended beyond the website to signage, pull-up banners, stationery, email signatures and advertising.

INTRODUCTION 

The Property General is a company of skilled qualified builders and carpenters specialising in renovations, services and maintenance to commercial and residential property in the wider Auckland area. The vision is to build a network of Property Generals of qualified skilled builders to service this gap in the market.

SOLUTION & OUTCOME 

The brief was to rename the existing business, create a logo and brand that communicated quality service and was easy to apply to stationery, vehicles, builders boards and website. The main feature of this brand identity was the adaptability of using the logo as a stamp device in a single colour - becoming the "seal of approval".

INTRODUCTION

Under Your Skin is a professional skin care clinic situated in Mairangi Bay, on the North Shore of Auckland. The business offers a full range of facial and body treatments, using leading product ranges. All staff are internationally qualified senior therapists with excellent training and experience in the latest techniques.

SOLUTION & OUTCOME 

Love Your Brand was briefed to revitalise the brand, the store and the website. The concept around the logo was to reflect what the business does - finding the solution under the skin through treatment - finding the name by an unconventional way of forming the letter spaces and using colour to help legibility.

INTRODUCTION 

An online Natural Beauty Boutique website, offering a carefully handpicked collection of quality, pure and beautiful natural organic skin & beauty products and deliver them, through the mail, in a way that makes customers feel incredibly special.

SOLUTION & OUTCOME 

The brief was to design a brand that looked beautiful and compelling and could be used for ongoing banner promotions and advertising through the web and social media. The floral background, logo, font, core colours and other devices were created to be the platform to build the brand for marketing purposes.

INTRODUCTION 

Rebranding of an existing product for local and international natural healthcare markets. Skin Health Rejuvenation Cream with Bee Venom and Active Manuka Honey. The brand needed to be strong, memorable and unique.

Submovers (Suburban Metro Relocations) are furniture movers within the Auckland area and provide moving solutions for residential and commercial clients. Innovation, best practice and compliance as at the companies forefront. 

SOLUTION & OUTCOME 

The existing logo (Suburban Metro Relocations) was too long, difficult and irrelavant to the future growth of the company. The name was shortened to "Submovers" with the tag line "Get Moving". A strong red was chosen which represents strength, warmth, energy, excitement. Applications include website, email signatures, stationery, packing decals, transport vehicles.

The Supported Life Style Hauraki Trust based in Thames, North Island, is a non-profit organisation providing care, education and housing for people with mixed disabilities. A new visual identity was designed around a long established name and to give the Trust more media profile and credibility.

Supreme Biotech is a Nelson based company that specialises in the production of bioactive compounds derived from micro-algae. Creating smart solutions from CO2 (Algae). These are then used within the medical industry for the export markets.

Their new identity logo was inspired from the spectacular flagellated green Volvox algae. Applications included signage, stationery and email signatures.

Rebrand of retail garden outlets.

A new visual look and advertising brand campaign were done simultaniously which gave Palmers a fresh intro into the garden consumer market. Work included a visual audit, branding and application. Also a comprehensive visual standards manual was designed to standardize all the different branches.

The Franchise Association of New Zealand is a body that brings together franchisors, franchisees and others such as lawyers, accountants, bankers, investors, etc. Processes such as learning and knowledge base are facilitated to encourage a high standard of conduct and protocol.

The idea behind the creation of the logo was based on a city map aerial view which formed an arrow - the progressive visionary direction of the business. Applications included website, email address and stationery.

DESIGN OVERVIEW 

The Crate is a shared office space environment encouraging creativity, synergy, collaboration via business interaction between individuals. Based in Albany on the North Shore of Auckland - it is one of the most sort after shared office spaces. 

The name was inspired by the interior fit-out - using crates as the building structure for desks, cupboards, boardroom table, etc. The logo was designed to echo the rough texture of the wood material. Blackboard paint was used as feature walls in each room. The tagline "Creative, Business, Synergy" sets the tone for the types of business that operate out of The Crate.

Tasti was founded in 1932 by two brothers and has grown to a company supplying foods to New Zealand and Australian retail markets. A very popular, well known and successful brand.

A pitch presentation of designs were done to refresh both the Tasti brand and packaging across a wide range of processed and natural foods. These were the final presentation.

DESIGN OVERVIEW 

Established in 1979 as a fabric wholesaler, Triton Clothing Company grew in the 80's into importing garments from China. Today Triton operates a full sourcing and distribution service out of a modern purpose built warehouse facility. 

In the design process, the name was simplified to ‘Triton’ which gave the company a platform for growth in other areas of business, besides clothing. Applications included stationery, presentation folder and signage.

INTRODUCTION 

Mitre 10 has been a part of New Zealand’s home improvement culture since 1974 and the largest home improvement and garden retailer in the country. Mitre 10 is 100% New Zealand owned and operated with multiple stores across the nation. The Mitre 10 brand is part of New Zealand’s DIY DNA. Many New Zealander's have grown up with Mitre 10 and trust the brand so much so that it has been awarded the most trusted brand in New Zealand in home improvement retailing.

Realigning the Mitre 10 brand

A strategic decision was made to change the Mitre 10 blue stores to black & orange and tweak the Mitre 10 logo for both Mitre 10 and Mitre 10 Mega stores. Love Your Brand was involved for a good part of the year to help design, and apply these changes. All branded areas were affected from exterior store signage, to interior aisle/shelf signage, promotional templates to advertising standards, stationery and in many more areas where the brand is visible. These visual identity changes were detailed in half a dozen comprehensive branding control manuals.

Cable Ways supplies solutions to the telecommunications and data network markets, security, healthcare and entertainment industries. Whether it is the life-saving applications housed in ambulances designed by the CEP Division or a comprehensive lifestyle portfolio with Audio Visual bracketing and safety solutions from ONEMOUNT, they design and manufacture products to meet their clients requirements.

SOLUTION & OUTCOME

Love Your Brand was commissioned to solve the Cableways brand and align all of its seperate sub-division / companies and affiliates into one overall business solution. The Cableways logo and colour became the overarching brand solution with all its cleaned up sub-brands fitting in like a puzzle. 

DESIGN OVERVIEW 

Findlay Foods is a privately owned New Zealand specialist food company. They import, pack, manufacture and distribute under their own brand and also private label for many large retail outlets. Their spices are carefully selected from many regions of the world alongside a growing range of New Zealand snack foods using healthy ingredients. 

The Findlay Foods identity was first designed to establish the brand. Over the years labels were designed to match imported spice products for upmarket retail outlets. These included the Gourmet Salt & Pepper labels and the Homemade Do-it-yourself Pickle product range.

DESIGN OVERVIEW 

Jucebox™ is a multi-protocol engine capable of controlling all devices residential and commercial building and social networking. It offers a seamless integration of the internet of things, Powered on the jbOS and can be remote controlled by an iphone/android app. In addition to iTunes and AppleTV, JuceBox also offers control of the full SONOS protocol. Jucebox provides push services for iOS and Android devices in addition to social media functions like Twitter, Facebook and Prowl.

The design of the brand idea was inspired by the colours of the different social media icons which form a perfect square around the word "box". As the product is still in the process of development, applications for the logo will also evolve and grow as the business takes shape.

INTRODUCTION 

AF Logistics is a 100% New Zealand owned and operated freighting company managing a comprehensive FMCG nationwide distribution network which provides logistics transport to Foodstuffs Wellington region. With cool stores and depots in 5 centres on the North Island - AF Logistics are ideally positioned to operate and accommodate vehicles routed throughout the country. A total fleet of over 200 vehicles provide an apt backbone to their distribution service. The existing identity was dated, illegible and did not reflect the companies growth and future.

THE BRIEF
In 2010, AF Logistics re-focused it's core values, vision and purpose to be the best in the industry. The AF Logistics slogan encapsulates who they are - "One Vision. One Purpose. One Passion." In 2011, as part of a revitalised vision and strategy, AF Logistics commissioned the team at Love Your Brand to design a visual identity to reflect the new, energised company, and to reflect the values, vision and purpose.

DESIGN SOLUTION
Several design concepts were submitted and the chosen identity was a symbol that reflected growth and direction. A tagline was developed which was incorporated into the new logo - "Delivering Excellence". The new logo represents the company, defining its identity and promoting its purpose and is an integral part of the company's brand strategy and vision. It helps give the company an established and professional feel. Applications were to replace all vehicle signage with the new identity, primary signage for all depots, uniforms, stationery and promotional material.

Greenlion Finance is a young Australian start up company based in Brisbane. 

The brief to us was to design a logo and put together a powerpoint presentation for some large business opportunities. The presentation was designed around clean, bold graphics that communicated through colour, shape and word the selling proposition to their clients.

The rebranding of Mr 4 Square - which involved commissioning a professional illustrator to update the iconic Mr 4 SQ man to be friendlier and relevant for today without changing the overall appearance. Tweaks were made rather than a re-design. Every element of the 4 SQ brand was looked at. The vision was to standardise all the store fronts and personalise the store name. A standards brand manual was produced to control all store fit-outs. 

Food for Thought was a training initiative setup to inspire students to choose a career in super-marketing. Applications involved a video and cover, brochures, post cards, banners and web based advertising.

Space Automation are qualified and registered B&O (Bang & Olufsen) contractors to carry out the installation of high end electronic media and automation into the New Zealand niche home market.

Design work included name generation, identity design and application onto stationery, website and advertising.

Revera is New Zealand’s cloud services leader. Previously called HDS (Hosting & Datacentre Services), the company changed its name and a new brand was developed.

The challenge for the new logo - to be relevant and timeless for the future. The primary ‘red’ colour was retained and a new symbol designed based on the companies key elements. Applications included stationery, folders, booklet and signage.

553 is a retail shop in Remuera specialising in school uniforms. The solution by simplifying two confusing names (School Uniform Centre & Uniforms Direct) into one simple ‘553’, which historically comes from the shop number and symbolised by a little red bell. 

Applications include stationery, folders, clothing labels, store front and signage.

Radius Pharmacy (now Radius Medical Solution) had a large store front presence together with Unichem and Life Stores.  

The work involved was to design the interior fit-out of all Radius stores - to apply the new brand to the exterior shop front, interior shelves, POS units, and photo kiosk areas. Work also included kiosk envelopes, stationery, advertising, weekly promo catalogues, etc

Gregg's Simple Creative Food recipe book.

Gregg's is an icon New Zealand brand in the food and beverage industry and offers great coffees, desserts, pastes, herbs, spices, sauces and more. Opportunity arose for Gregg's to do their own recipe book working with guru food photographer Kieran Scott.

Work involved concept layout with a clean, fresh approach, great photography and recipes to increase market awareness.
